The IKEA effect!

 The IKEA effect!

The IKEA effect is a cognitive bias that causes consumers to place a higher value on products they partially create or assemble. The term comes from the Swedish furniture company IKEA, which sells many products that require assembly. For example, someone might buy a coffee table from IKEA, take it home in a box, and assemble it themselves. Later, they might decide to sell the table and charge more than similar tables being sold online because they feel a higher value in it. When you put more work into something, you tend to value it more as well. So, put more efforts into your business, studies or job. You will enjoy and value your struggle.
